The new Sault Area Hospital represents the community’s largest construction project in the history of our community. It boasts 289 beds and offers a full range of services including acute, general rehabilitation, mental health, complex continuing care hospital services and a new cancer radiation therapy facility. The hospital site also includes a heliport for air ambulances. One of Avery Construction’s largest projects to date, the company was responsible for clearing and preparing the land for the foundation of the complex, as well as installing all of the site services such as sewer and water main.
