Avery’s Transportation division has grown substantially since it’s beginning as a low bed service only. It has now grown to include many different types of services including vans, low beds, flat beds, and other specialties. Avery has extensive experience in all sorts of situations and is capable of hauling virtually anything ranging from materials like steel, wood, and paper to heavy machinery and aggregates. We can permit in all Provinces and Territories, as well as the United States.

Major customers include, Essar Steel and Algoma Tubes as well as many other local companies. Finished product from these mills is hauled throughout Ontario for the most part, with the occasional trips to Western Canada and the United States. Back hauls usually consist of flat bed loads, with several tractor units. Each one has a different capacity up to 80,000 lbs dedicated.

Avery  also hauls logs from the harvest areas to the mills and also has a unit dedicated to hauling trusses manufactured by Soo Mill throughout Ontario and Michigan.

The final component of course, is the low bed service. Hauls consist largely of heavy equipment to and from destinations throughout Canada and United States. Customers include construction firms, logging firms, and heavy equipment factories and dealers. Trailers can be configured to haul numerous sizes and weights to meet your needs.
