Avery Construction was subcontracted by Jobst Brothers Construction to expand the parking lot at Korah Collegiate in Sault Ste Marie. We were responsible for excavation, supply and placement of new granulars and storm sewer upgrades, curb, sidewalk and asphalt.
Avery Construction was subcontracted by Ontario Concrete Finishing to perform the demo, removals, foundation excavation and backfill, supply and placement of pavers as well as some curb for the Civic Centre Exterior Improvements project. Our team understands the importance of a quality finished product and completed this work with ease and professionalism.
Avery Construction was awarded the contract to supply and place rip rap protection along the embankment at Hollingsworth Dam located between Wawa, ON and Hawk Junction, ON. Our scope of work included manufacturing the rip rap, prepping the shoreline for the rock, hauling to site, and placing the rock as a slope stabilization measure. In addition, we were tasked with hauling 2000m3 of rip rap to another site and stockpiling for future use
Avery Construction was awarded the contract for the Downtown Plaza Project in Sault Ste Marie. As the general contractor, we are responsible for the planning and execution of all components of the project including the management of our subcontractors and self performing of our work. This project involved a small building for office, mechanical room, change room and zamboni room. On the exterior, there is an outdoor rink, stage, water feature, amphitheater, mobile kitchen units, plenty of concrete pavement and asphalt as well.
Avery Construction was awarded the contract for the reconstruction of Cedar Street and Dufferin Street in Sault Ste Marie. Our scope involved all sewer and water replacement and road reconstruction including concrete curb, sidewalk and asphalt pavement.
Avery Construction was awarded the contract for the miscellaneous paving contract in Sault Ste Marie. This involved the reconstruction and paving of a small parking lot and several milling and resurfacing sections.
