Avery Construction was contacted by Winmar Property Restoration to demolish 3 buildings that were destroyed due to a tragic fire which resulted in all three buildings being a total loss. We were on site within a couple of hours and our excavator worked with the Ontario Fire Marshal to sort through debris in an effort to determine a cause. We demolished the three downtown buildings, removed foundations and backfilled to grade.

Avery Construction was hired by Praztek Construction out of Timmins,ON to complete the site work for the new 12 unit housing complex that is being built in Richard’s Landing,ON. Our work consists of Clearing and Grubbing of the area, foundation excavation and backfill, site services and parking area construction. Within our scope is also the construction of a retaining wall.
We were awarded the contract for the first phase of the Multi Unit Residential Building Development project in Sault Ste. Marie. This phase of the project consists of site grading, installation of sanitary sewer, watermain and storm-water management.
Avery Construction was awarded the contract for the Mcnabb Street Drainage Improvements in Sault Ste. Marie. As the General Contractor, our work consists of the installation of large diameter pipe, some water main re-routing and the restoration of the work area once complete.
Avery Construction was awarded the contract for the reconstruction of the Fort Creek aqueduct along Wellington St West in Sault Ste Marie. This work consists of the demolition of the existing concrete aqueduct and the installation of the new precast sections, miscellaneous water main re-configurations and road resurfacing.
Avery Construction was awarded the contract to make repairs to the Dunphy Bridge near Dubreuilville, Ontario. As the General Contractor, our scope includes the repair of the foundation, placement of riprap and filling of the existing crib. This work was completed for Brookfield Renewable.
In June 2017 Avery Construction was awarded the contract to reconstruct an existing seawall along the waterfront on Bay Street in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Our work consisted of the removal of an existing sheet pile wall, the supply and placement of rip rap material and associated landscaping.
Avery Construction performed the civil portion of the expansion to ARCH hospice in Sault Ste. Marie during the summer of 2017. Our work consisted of foundation excavation and backfill, sanitary sewer service, drainage upgrades and site grading. This work was completed for Jobst Construction.
Avery Construction was awarded the contract for the civil component of the E-Wing IE3 Re-Development at Sault College Site in Sault Ste. Marie. Our work generally consisted of watermain and storm sewer upgrades and some minor underground utility upgrades. We were hired by Cyrheault Construction for this project.
